How to Set Up Onsite Widget (New)

The onsite widget allows you to display reviews and a Q&A section across all pages on your website. By default, this widget appears on the left side in the middle of the page.


Wix and Shopify 2.0 Users
- No action needed: The widget embeds automatically, so there’s no need to add any code.

BigCommerce, Other Website Users, and Custom Platforms
- Code Embedding Required:
- You’ll need to embed a code snippet into your website to activate the onsite widget.
- Follow the instructions provided under the "Embed Code" section on the widget settings page to copy and paste the code into your website.


Widget Settings and Customization

Position
- Set the widget’s position on the screen. Default position is “Middle Left.”



Content Options

- Business Reviews: Toggle to show or hide business reviews.
- Product Reviews: Toggle to show or hide product reviews.
- Q&A: Enable the question and answer feature for visitors.




Display Options

- Show on Desktop: Toggle to show the widget on desktop devices.
- Show on Mobile: Toggle to show the widget on mobile devices.
- Mobile Tab: Enable if you want a mobile-specific tab for the widget.



Text Customization
- Customize the labels and prompts within the widget (e.g., “Reviews from Happy Customers”).



Once you’ve configured the settings, click the Save button to apply the changes.


Use the Preview section on the right side of the settings page to see how the widget will look on your site. Make adjustments as needed, then save to finalize your setup.
