How to Setup After Purchase Mail (New)
OVERVIEW
Usually when customers buy products from your store, you’ll want to request reviews from them so you can use the reviews to attract more customers.
The After Purchase Mail (APM) feature of the Kudobuzz Reviews app automatically sends out emails to your customers after they have made purchases from your store.
Setting up your After Purchase Mail
To set up your After Purchase Mail, follow the steps below:
From the dashboard, click on Collect from the left menu options.
Select the gear icon on the upper right side of the dashboard
The following are areas you can update or customize to suit your business:
SET APM STATUS
The After Purchase Mail has an enable button that allows you to control whether you want to turn on the APM or not. For instance, if you decide at some point that you don’t want review request emails to go out to your customers when they buy from your store, you can disable it by toggling it off.
CONTROL NUMBER OF DAYS DELAY BEFORE REQUESTS GO OUT
You can set how many days delay should be considered before email requests go out. You can choose between 1 and 30 days.
To set the number of days delay follow this step:
1- Click Send Review
2- Click the first drop down list that shows number of days.
3- Select the number of day/s delay you desire.
SET EMAIL SEND CRITERIA
You can decide what state the order should be in before we start counting the number of days to sending the review request. To set this up follow this steps:
1- Click Send Review
2- Click the second drop down that shows the criteria
When you select After Purchase, the day count begins right after the purchase is made.
When you select After Fulfillment, the day count begins only after you have marked the order as fulfilled in your ecommerce platform.
EMAIL CUSTOMIZATION
You have control over the content of the review request email we send. Apart from using your own copy, you can also change the whole copy to a different language.
You can edit the subject of the email. You can make use of any of the available variables in the email subject.
You can edit the body of the email. The body of the email should be written so as to convince your customer to leave a review. You can make use of any of the available variables but make sure to keep the default {{ review_form }} variable intact.
CHANGE THE DEFAULT TEXT FOR THE REVIEW FORM AND THANK YOU PAGE
If you changed your email content to a different language, you can also change the form copy language too. Translate the review form in the email and/or the thank you page to a different language or to suit your brand tone.
SET UP PHOTO AND VIDEO REVIEWS
Through the review request emails, you can collect photos/videos reviews as well.
Turn ON/OFF photo and video reviews from here.
Remember to Save settings for all your changes.
Note: We only allow three (3) test emails per day.
