How to set up SEO Minisite with registered domain on wix

Setting up the SEO minisite for your business involves setting up a subdomain on your site to display your reviews.


When the process is completed, your subdomain will display the same reviews as shown on the dedicated SEO page URL on the dashboard.



Therefore each time any user visits your subdomain, the contents on the dedicated SEO Page URL on the dashboard will be served to your users.



The process involves creating an alias which will point your subdomain to the dedicated SEO page URL on the dashboard.

Or proceed with the steps below.:

Add a CNAME record


Proceed to “Wix Site Editor”
Under settings , Click on “domains”


Click on “manage DNS records”



Click on “add record”




This is where the fun begins!!!!

Under “add records”, type "reviews"




Next will be the “value” tab.



To get the dedicated CNAME URL, copy the dedicated SEO page URL provided on your dashboard and paste on the value tab.




Proceed to paste on the 'Value' tab.



Click on save. Changes should be effected after a while.



Finally, head over to your dashboard and enter your “CNAME URL” in the advanced settings tab.
Your Cname URL will now be: reviews.kbgrocery.com



Proceed to add your CNAME to your dashboard in the advanced settings tab and save.



Voila! Your SEO minisite subdomain is ready to use!!
