Adding the product widget to your BigCommerce site (NEW)

Adding the product widget requires a bit more additional steps than adding the Slider or Badge widget. Follow the steps below.

To add the product widget, you first have to create a copy of your theme. See the steps below to do that.

1. In your Bigcommerce dashboard, go to Storefront

2. Click on Themes, then click the Advanced dropdown, and select Make a copy

3. Give your copy a name and hit the Save button

4. Give the new theme a few seconds to process. After it's done, click on the three horizontal dots on your theme icon, and choose Edit theme files

5. A modal appears asking you to confirm that you want to edit your theme files. Hit the edit theme files button

6. To find the product file, click on templates >> pages >> product.html

7. Go to your Kudobuzz dashboard and copy the product widget code

8. Place it where you want to display the widget. Usually, it should be toward the end of the closing div element, and above the related products section

9. Hit the Save all files button

10. Go back to your theme copy and hit the Apply button to effect the changes you've made

11. Choose your preferred style and click continue

12. Go to your live site to check how it looks
